Legacy had the incredible honor of writing and producing the English language version of the epic Chinese fantasy film "Da Yu Hai Tang" ("Big Fish & Begonia"). The film was directed by Liang Xuan, Zhang Chun and produced by B&T Productions and Enlight Media.

A 16-year-old girl embarks on a fantastical and dangerous adventure after transforming into a dolphin. When a boy sacrifices himself to save her, she uses magic to bring him back to life -- only to learn that this power comes at a serious price.

The film was rendered to look like a traditional hand-drawn project, then thoroughly enhanced by CG touches and an immersive 3D presentation, “Big Fish & Begonia” commands awe on the strength of its imagery alone — a procession of enormous whales swim through the skies, a tentacled creature ferries a girl across a sea of clouds, feline porters walk on their hind legs — while weaving an epic tale that’s uniquely informed by local myths and motifs.

The film has generated over $100 million dollars in world-wide theatrical box office.

The film made its US theatrical debut Q3 2018.
